I guess it's 'horses for courses' and what may not work for one person, another would relish.
Granted, I have worked for some real sh@t bags over the years but I found I'm not what you would call a natural employee.
::so can't hurt to try it to see if you like it otherwise you'll never know...::
Your profile pic says it all. :D

I recently got head hunted by a recruitment company for an in-house job at a music company.
Decent money, not too taxing and almost on the doorstep with all the mod cons.
I went to a couple of meetings/interviews and I was really tempted.
Then I stood back and thought about it.
F@CK THAT! ;D

::I still think of this as the new forum. The only thing that bugs me is when you edit a post and the apostrophes come out as entities.::
LOL! The apostrophe thing is a bit of a pain.
It seems to be when you write a long post or take a while doing it.
When you submit it it doesn't post so you have to click back and re-submit it.
It then posts it with the apostrophes replaced with something like "&*:@^".
I've took to copying what I've written and pasting it again after refreshing.

It's retail @Dan, Coles for a couple of months. I hear you, I had a short term contract at KPMG once, very dry - they didn't even have cake (mind you they've sponsored a few events I've run and they put on a good spread there).
I'm with you @scotty on being an employee. I'm looking forward to getting into the onsite gym next week though - time to get my pre-baby body back!

@scotty - haha that's awesome, I used to love TDR. Umm not as long as I thought but thats probably because its modular and probably from start to finish on the typeface was probably like 10 hours work?
@theunderdog - good on you for doing pro-bono work for NFP's, I try to do a few a year, I think it's a good way I can donate to causes and groups I support too. I did the survey :)
